Dress Code 2026-27

We expect all our students to wear smart clothing, as might be expected in a professional working environment.

Expectations for Sixth Formers:
  • Tailored trousers or a plain blue, black or grey skirt. Where skirts are worn, they must be worn with black or navy tights. Where trousers are worn, these should be at least ankle-length and not skinny fit. A smart blouse or collared shirt (no vibrant patterns or extreme styles, and shoulders and midriffs must be covered)
  • Either a blazer, or a smart jumper (plain colours, v-neck, with no logo on).
  • Formal leather or leather-look shoes (not trainers or white soles).
  • Students who are in the Performing Arts subjects must wear the Performing Arts uniform for those lessons, but with white/ black trainers.
  • Jewellery must be discreet and professional if worn. Nails should be kept short.
  • Lanyards must be worn at all times.
The following are not permitted:
  • Denim or leather (of fake denim/ leather) items of any colour
  • Leggings
  • Visible tattoos
  • Trainers or Doc Marten style boots
  • Extreme hairstyles or colours
  • Earphones on display
  • Facial piercings (only one small nose stud allowed)
