Year 13 Celebrate A Level Success

There were plenty of smiling faces at Glenthorne High School as our Year 13 students collected their A Level results.

The Class of 2026 has every reason to be proud. Their results reflect two years of dedication and hard work, providing an excellent foundation for the next stage of their education, training and careers.

This year, 31% of all grades were awarded at A*-A, 68% at A*-B and 88% at A*-C. Among the many outstanding achievements, Adam, Abigail, Isabel, Tauras, George and  Raphael all secured straight A* grades, a remarkable accomplishment that deserves special recognition.

The strength of these results is reflected in the impressive destinations our students have secured. Many are progressing to leading Russell Group universities, including King’s College London, UCL, the University of Bristol, the University of Exeter and the University of Leeds, while others have successfully gained places on apprenticeships, training programmes and employment pathways.

We congratulate the Class of 2026 on their achievements and wish them every success in the future. We would also like to thank our staff, parents and carers for their continued support throughout our students’ Sixth Form journey.

Welcoming Our Next Sixth Form Cohort

We will begin enrolling the next generation of Sixth Form students next week. Following the publication of GCSE results, we will contact all students who have already applied for Glenthorne Sixth Form.

Students interested in applying can find further information about our Sixth Form and the application process on our website.
