The BTEC Level 3 National Extended Certificate in Performing Arts is a practical and vocational qualification designed for students with a passion for performance. Equivalent to one A Level, the course develops skills in acting, singing, dancing, rehearsal techniques and live performance, preparing students for higher education, conservatoire training, apprenticeships and careers within the creative industries.

At Glenthorne, the course is tailored towards Musical Theatre, allowing students to explore a wide range of performance styles while developing the versatility required of modern performers. Students will take part in workshops, rehearsals and public performances, refining their technical and creative skills in an industry-focused environment. This course is ideal for enthusiastic performers who enjoy practical learning and wish to develop their skills in a supportive, creative and performance-led environment.
